My son has some speech delay / social anxiety problems. He is now 3.5 years old. I have registered for him assessments / therapies at CAS and heep hong ..etc but as many mama point out, some waiting times are required. Thus, I want to enhance his social skllls / speaking in the meantime by organizing play dates with kids of similar problems at my home. We can also share tips with each other. So they can interact with each other. I have a big mat and many toys. Can serve refreshments

May be we can try. in my case my son is ok speaking to some adults in simple words but he freezes when he is expected to speak to peers but he does play/interact with them actively ( just no speaking ).. Did you make any appointment for an assessment for your boy yet?
