星期日是工人的假期, 就算她10:00pm回家, 僱主可以依據這點出 Warning Letter 嗎?

我就多數會口頭話吓佢, 跟住係佢份Day off Record度用紅筆mark低佢遲到幾多分鐘, 咁佢就照樣係側邊簽名. 雖然冇乜實則作用, 但就當remind佢, 佢幾耐遲一次到, 每次遲幾耐囉! 不過好多時佢唔係成日遲到的話, 遲到少少我都唔會記低!

I will warn her verbally. You can also tell her that you are afraid that she has accident. Nearly call police law.

你要好認真咁同佢講你好介意佢遲返，然後睇佢有冇改善，沒改善就出warnin letter，如果佢仍然唔改善，即係想走la。

同賓妹講過的規矩要好認真執行，我個賓妹初來時，我俾左張家規佢，放假遲返五分鐘，我都問佢知唔知自己遲到，唔解會遲....我叫佢只可以係洗手間換衫，佢係我個女間房換，我都即刻話佢，叫佢簽埋行為薄，慢慢佢就唔敢。


唔係話要對工人好差，而家如果你以為佢錯少少唔同佢計，慢慢佢地就會明知故犯，對你講的說話唔重視。

Why so late? My maid, I restrict them to come back before 7:00 pm. They can continue to take their rest at home and I dont bother but stay out late, no way.

If they come back late, you should verbally warn them. Tell her again your rules and if happen again, then give them warning letter but state that they should come back by for rest at home. Some maids are very cunning and if you give them warning letter about their late for day off, then they would argue or even claim that you have not given them 24 hours continue rest, so be careful when you give them warning letter.

My experience is that if the maid continues to breach the rules after receiving your verbal warnings, they have no intention to work and better terminate their contract for good.

I just wonder if you have any maids or not? I suppose you don't. Or maybe you come from Philipine or Indonesia. Am I correct. That's why you always put your shoes on them. However, have you ever try to put your shoes on the employers? I would say that you didn't. Every company does has their rules. Can we late to the office? Can we off duty sharp when the time is up? When we OT, do we get paid? Sometimes, we have to work on Sat. and Sun. with no pay. But, we still respect the company rules. This is the game of the rules.
At home, we have family rules. Of course, we will follow the labour laws and we also hope our maid follow our family rules. It's just as simple as that.
Next time, when you try to critize the other, I hope you can put your shoes on them before you write.

I think the maid has to obey the rule set by the employer. If she does not agree with that rule, she can voice out and discuss with her employer, but not breaching the rule herself.

So for me, I shall just remind her that she should be back by 9pm, if she continue to disobey without good reason, how can I trust her to follow my rules in other area? I may consider terminating the contract.
