I have been using 7100t (water goods) for a month. Since I have not joined any service package for Blackberry at either PCCW or Smartone, many functions in Blackberry cannot be used.
BB only downloads the header and first few lines of text - attachments are not downloaded until you tell it to. I am on a corporate plan about $600 (unlimited traffic) with free phone and for 18 months. Very expensive if for personal use. Roaming becomes very expensive!
If you want to use personal emails, look at the smartphones - there are so many choices out there now and they work better as a phone (O2, SE 910i etc) If you need to use it more as a PDA then a phone, then I suggest the PDA-phones (ipaqs etc) I am using BB mainly for my corp email.
Could you let me know how many units in your company purchased ? It seems your plan is much better than my company's corporate plan. My plan is $598 unlimited use with 2 year contract and no voice service. I would like to make noise to the carrier in order to have better offer.
