Which one you have used last time?
There are 3 companies providing this service.
I have a very quick and simply review :
HealthBaby (not sure the name) : I will not consider as it is a taiwan-owned ...
I have chosen Cryolife's 5-year plan as most of the pre-born diseases likely happens before 5 years old. After 5 years, I can consider continuing storage by just paying the annual storage fee or donate the cordblood - more flexible and no need to commit for 18 years. I understand that only Cryolife has such 5-year plan while others have to pay for 18 years. If you are interested in enrolling Cryolife, you can quote my membership number 2005126028 to enjoy HK$500 discount.
I will subscribe to HealthBaby. My friend who works in bio-chem industry has visited the lab of all 3 companies and thinks HealthBaby is the most professional. The storage system is also the best, same as the one used in Red Cross.
If anyone wants to join, pls pm me. You can get additional $500 discount with member referral.
