I keep all of them as I bought most of my insurance plans (I have several) when I were in my 20s. So, the premium are quite low. But, you may need to check if you can claim it in the future (touch wood) even though you are not in HK. Most of the employers here provide health insurance and some of them also have disability insurance and life insurance set up for you but the amount is not too much. I bought a travel insurance before I left HK and use it as a backup before I can find a job here. But, my insurance agent told me there might be limitation for the travel insurance and the insurance company may not accept my claim when they found out that I came for good. Do you have kids? You may need to arrange at least health insurance for them, say purchase some low cost basic medical insurance plan once you arrive.
