yes. My first child also has the same problem when she was 8 mths old.
She stayed in the hospital for 3 days too.
Her only meal is Breast milk and -ion water.
Althought she was very sick about this illness. But after 2 days of breast feeding her, she was totally full of energy. And after that, she get well very fast. Some of the doctor told me not to feed her by breast milk. But this is the only thing that she drank.
And she get well very soon.
For my experience that It is ok to take Mother milk . Just one thing that need to remind you that The mother can not drink cow's milk and cow's milk's product during this moment.
