My agency will charge $4500 for contract renewal and she said my maid will ask for normal salary after contract completion. I think $4500 is quite expensive if this is done by agent. I heard from BK that we can renew maid's contract ourselves but only paid for $1xxx to gov't. That's why I must get back the passport first before next step.
$4,500 really expensive!! May be you can try to bargain with them by telling them that other agents only charge $3000. For the maid's salary issue, if the maid agree, I think the agent can't do anything.

9. Letter from doctor stating that she is fit for work.
10. HKD480.00 processing fee
11. After completed all the requirements, please contact 28904421 ext 264/224 for appointment with Head of Consular Section (Both employer and DH must come.)
(Note : The one responsible for making the appointment is only willing to make appointment for those cases in which DH contract is due to expire in 1 month. e.g. on 27 Aug, she is only willing to make appointment for renewals involving DH due to expire on or before 27 Sept.)
The Indonesian Consulate's entrance to office for DH contract renewal is on G/F, very near St. Paul's Convent KG in Causeway Bay. It is closed on all Wednesdays. Lunch hour is from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. If you can go early, then you will still have time to sort small missing items out.
It is best if employer can go together with DH. The DH need to go first to collect the 2 forms. The employer can then arrange to issue an air ticket. Then phone to make appointment, and take the whole day off to attend the session together with the DH.
You have to prepare a lot of things and spend some time in order to save the agency fees.
