但如果佢又扭下計...... 咁o的時間點計? 日頭咪真係唔洗訓?!
In the first few months, it's more important to build up baby's health system instead of his routine. That's why doctors said that breastfed baby has to be fed on demand. You really need to feed your baby every 3 hours in the first month. My son slept so much when he's in his first month of birth but I did have to feed him every 3 hours, no matter in daytime or night time; I would say at least 7 times a time for bf baby. For formula baby, you can do that every 4 hours = 6 times a day. Some babies seem to sleep more, especially jaundice baby. But, the NICU nurses told me that I must feed my boy more (in quantity each time and in frequency) so that the jaundice can go away. I don't know if your baby has this problem or not but it's also very important to help your baby to build up his digestion system - eat more, pee more, poo more.
Sleep is also important but we don't want our babies to be underfed. Watch the weight gain of your baby. Sometimes, baby cries not just because of hunger but also feel uncomfortable, too cold, too hot, too noisy, too tired, etc. Try to calm your baby after feeding, play a bit with him but don't make him too excited so that he does not want to sleep. Actually, if he's more awake in daytime, he should be sleep better in night-time. You can struggle around the feeding schedule, say 2.5-3 hours in daytime and 3-4 hours at night, anyway makes it 7-8 times a day. Don't let him wait more than 4 hours during this age, he should be too hungry and he will be so fussy which makes him more difficult to go to sleep later.
